50 mile trail run across the Gallatin Range near Bozeman. Two-person relay is an option for those not certain they can do this course solo. This is a graduate level run (yes, like Hardrock). The race begins at Riverside Park in downtown Whitefish, Montana and winds its way through backstreets, rivers, lakes and up and down singletrack. By thtime the race is completed, participants will have run, biked, and paddled through 55 miles of beautiful Montana country. Racers may enter as individuals, partners, and teams [3-7 members]. We invite both competative and recreational racers to jon us for the 2008 Glacier Challenge. Drop 'n Trot is a unique event where the number of pushups each participant completes in a minute subtracts time off of their adjusted 5k time. Push-ups are not required. The race will be held at Homestake Lodge, a cross country ski area at the top of Homestake pass on I-90, just east of Butte, and on Forest Service land backing the XC ski area. The course is a 6-7-mile loop comprised of double-track and single track. The course will be fast, rolling terrain that will suit all around riders. Registration is from 9:30 AM

The 2nd Annual Foy's to Herron Paddlethon will take place on Sunday, August 3rd @ 9am, starting at Foy's Lake. This is an off road triathlon including a 3 mile canoe or kayak on Foy's Lake, a 6 mile mountain bike in Herron Park, and finishing with a 4 mile trail run. PFD required in boat, Helmet required on bike. The race is open to teams or soloists (over 18). The entry fee is $10, with all proceed donated to the Foy's to Blacktail Trail Group.
